Hello! I am a graduate of the School of Architecture at The University of Texas at Austin, where I earned my Bachelor of Architecture. Halfway through earning my degree I realized architecture, although something I enjoy learning about and appreciating, was not my true passion in life. Since then, I have been pursuing graphic design as both my creative outlet and career path.
Currently, I work at the Lower Colorado River Authority as a Graphic Designer in the Digital Media department. I accept freelance jobs as they come. Please message me on my contact page for further information about pricing.
My background in architecture gives me a competitive edge. Through the rigorous 5-year degree plan, I've honed my time management skills and am no stranger to handling multiple projects at a time. The attention to detail I have learned necessary in architecture directly translates into graphics, whether it be designing a t-shirt or a form. I love expressing myself artistically and finding new ways to work inside existing parameters. Simply put, I'm a creative problem solver.
Aside from my job, I am a proud alumni of the Longhorn Band and facilitator for low- and high-ropes challenge courses at Camp Lone Star. I am OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry and Red Cross First Aid/AED Certified. I work recreationally at Fight Club Austin as a Kickboxing Instructor, mostly in the mornings before heading to my desk. In my free time, I enjoy catching up with friends over coffee or craft beer, going to trivia nights, and crossing off books on my to-read list.
I thrive on producing media that is excellent. That excellence is something I strive for in every aspect of my daily life.
"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit." - Aristotle
